The Colony Room Club - special 'Colony Room Green Edition' A4 print - FRAMED
The photograph, The Colony Room, was made by Craig Easton in the original club in Dean Street on the afternoon of 28th April, 1992, the day that Francis Bacon died.
Originally commissioned by The Independent newspaper there were, for many years, only three prints in circulation; the negative had been lost and despite multiple enquiries no other prints could be made.
Then, in 2016, in a studio clear out, the original neg was found!
To celebrate the reincarnation of the club - and to acknowledge the interest there has been in this picture over the years, this special Colony Room Green Edition is made as an Archival A4 pigment print on Canson Baryta paper at a special discounted price.
Framed (wood with archival window mount and AR70 museum glass): £270
